In regards the private pilot certificate, it allows a pilot to fly almost anywhere during the day and night in good weather. A private pilot will usually learn to fly in a 4-seat single engine aircraft that is a fun and safe way to fly you and your family or friends around the area or to another state for lunch or an important business meeting. With a private pilot certificate, the possibilities are endless. The FAA requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight training for the private pilot certificate.
